Alexander Koenig

The ornithologist and zoologist Alexander Koenig lived in Germany from 1867 and obtained his doctorate in Marburg in 1884. He undertook numerous research expeditions and, with the inheritance from his father Leopold, founded the Zoological Research Institute and Museum Alexander Koenig in Bonn.
