Today, there is no trace left of the British embassy on this site. In 2003, excavators created space for the "new Bonn", 1954.

Embassy of the United Kingdom

1955–1999

Today, nary a trace of the former British Embassy building on Friedrich-Ebert-Allee remains, as the structure was torn down in 2003. However, the memory of the embassy’s most celebrated employee remains: John le Carré memorialised the British Embassy in his novel A Small Town in Germany.
