Until the Bonn-Berlin move in 1999, the buildings in Graurheindorfer Strasse were the headquarters of the Federal Ministry of Finance, 2008.
In the 1950s, the first offices of the Federal Ministry of Finance moved into the former barracks building.

Federal Ministry of Finance

since 1949

The Federal Ministry of Finance was initially headquartered in the former Husarenkaserne barracks, but which soon proved to be too small. To remedy this situation, ten additional structures were built on the Ministry’s campus. The Ministry of Finance has used this facility as a secondary official seat since 1999.
