Since 1949, Germany’s Ministry of Transport was housed in a wing of the Chamber of Agriculture building, before moving, in 1960, to the Sparkasse building on Friedensplatz. It wasn’t until 1989 that the Ministry moved into its new quarters on Robert-Schuman-Platz.
